THE NEW AFFORDABLE HOUSING BUILDING PROGRAM FOR NIGERIA

Hello Readers,

13,600 affordable houses MUST BE BUILT  in Nigeria EVERY DAY by the new President.

How are you this morning? Allow me to tell you what I have just done, over the past three hours.
I have edited, for the attention of my Nigerian readers, an article in which I presented them with the estimated growth of the housing deficit in their country  between today and the next four years.

The results frightened me, in that they indicate that building two million new houses over the next four years will just suffice to keep up with the housing deficit of 19,440,820 houses that exits at this hour.

So, to repeat myself, we need to build half a million new houses every year or 13,600 houses every day just to avoid increasing the current housing deficit of 19,440,820 houses.

The readers will be bound to ask me: But, how many affordable houses are we presently building. The answer, to the best of my knowledge, is NONE, and the answer to the inevitable WHY will be "search me".

But, if I wished to be more helpful, I would add the following to the Nigerian readers of this blog.

If you really love your country I would suggest that you make sure that the program of your next PRESIDENT would include, in top priority, the construction of, at least, half a million new houses, EVERY YEAR, from NOW ON.

DID YOU HEAR ME, MY FRIENDS?

I suggest that, the day following his election and every following day, the next President of Nigeria ought to receive every morning a call from his citizens requesting him to inform them how many new affordable houses were built the day before.

If you do this, believe me, you will have results. So, this matter is in your hands.
